It is illogical to assume that violence in the 60′s has correlation to violence today, especially blaming the NRA who have been around since the late 1800′s. I like that you mention both sides and you sound like you know a lot about the subject but playing the blame game gets us no where. Peace and world order are unattainable goals plain and simple. The only peace that will come will not be in the form of a solution such as a gun control. Arming law abiding citizens can reduce crime, look at the muder rates in D.C.
